Amazon offered an awesome deal on this, which made getting the CD with the mag much more affordable.
This was a gift for my boyfriend, but we definitely both enjoy it.

For the guitar enthusiast, beginner, advanced, or even the mediocre player. This magazine has a well rounded amount of reviews for future equipment purchases and tabs every issue for learning. You can't go wrong with this, and that their issues are thick with information rather than silly ads.

I have been reading this and similiar guitar magazines for many years. The price now is really cheap and definitely worth it. The negatives are that the magazine now is mostly for metal players and so if you play acoustic-unplugged material than this is missing. Classic rock stuff is there, but minimal. I have been playing guitar for 40 years and so I might be just looking for more variety than what is here.
