I ordered Artist's Magazine because I was familiar with it and thought I'd like to receive it regularly. The magazine, for my purposes, is somewhat irregular in that a issue may be very helpful and informative while another may not have anything of interest to me. That does not mean that others might not find it helpful/informative.
As of this date I have not received any magazines in the mail.

I ordered this year-long subscription with high hopes. I got two magazines, and then nothing after that. I order it in January 2009, and only received two issues... I haven't received a magazine in over six months, and I don't know who to complain to.

I am just beginning to paint and was hoping to find a magazine with step by step instructions and patterns that I could use that would help me learn to paint a tree, flower, landscape and other subjects. This magazine is for Artists who really know their stuff and are looking for ways to sell their art and to read about other accomplished artists.

Art Magazine.
An excellent one. Teaches you methods, gives you updated stores for materials, great pictures to copy while painting and a great value at the moment if you purchase.
