Amazon Subscription Price May 8, 2010 Sally Adler (Pittsburgh, PA) The magazine is great - this price is not. I got an email from amazon that read: "As someone who has recently bought a book on art, you might like to know you can now save up to 65% on art magazines at Amazon.com." It implies a SPECIAL saving. In fact, this is HOW's regular subscription price.

We were seeking a good creative magazine subscription that covers the commercial side of the art and design world. "How" was all we found thus far, and it has too many advertisements, but still provides some useful info.
Much of the articles contained in several issues provided BASIC information - perhaps meant for neophytes that are new to the design world. It is unfortunate that the product specifications page does not mention this.
"How" is not recommended for intermediate or advanced professionals, but rather, it may be a good read for beginners whom don't mind overwhelming ADs.
Artfully laid out January 9, 2009 Emmy (Upstate NY) It's almost like getting a book because it's so artfully laid out. It's definitely something I will save after I read.
